Calling all story lovers! Children’s book author Larissa Theule is joining us for ten weeks of story time and writing fun. She’ll read picture books that celebrate our beautiful world and lead writing activities that keep young imaginations and fingers nimble.

Following the lead of many children’s museums across the nation, Southern California Children’s Museum will be temporarily closing effective Saturday, March 14. Programming, events, and parties have been cancelled/rescheduled. Given the confirmed case of COVID-19 in Pasadena, it is our responsibility to do our part to slow the spread of this virus by implementing crowd-limiting strategies recommended by public health experts and the CDC. We are grateful to this community for helping us bring our collective vision to life and remain committed to our mission of cultivating a child’s wonder, stimulating curiosity, and motivating learning through interactive exhibits, creative experiences and dramatic play, all while promoting the diversity of Southern California.
