We are excited to welcome Elizabeth Flynn to the SCCM team! Elizabeth joins us as our new Associate Director. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in art history and education at UC Riverside, and has previously worked at The Huntington Library and the Homestead Museum.

A note from Elizabeth:
Hi there! I am so excited to take on the role of Associate Director at the Southern California Children’s Museum! I loved exploring museums as a kid, so to now be given the opportunity to help foster a younger generation’s sense of curiosity and wonder at SCCM is such a great honor. I’m looking forward to growing and gaining new experiences here at SCCM, and to collaborate with the community surrounding the museum.

Now for the fun stuff! My favorite Disney movie is Coco, my favorite food is mac-and-cheese, and I have a crazy Manchester Terrier named Atwood. I love to crochet, and I make fiber sculptures and other art pieces in my spare time. I can’t wait to incorporate more yarn into the museum! Next time you’re at SCCM, be sure to say hi!
