Southern California Children’s Museum (SCCM) was founded in 2013 by a group of parents who felt there was an underserved need for public early childhood education in their community. Now ten years in existence, SCCM supports developmental milestone growth for children 0-8 years old through the arts and served nearly 23,000 people in 2022.
A 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, the mission of SCCM is to cultivate a child’s wonder, stimulate curiosity and motivate learning through interactive exhibits, creative experiences, and dramatic play, all while promoting the diverse cultures of Southern California.
SCCM partners with local schools and organizations to offer field trips, community programs, camps, and classes. Join us for regular community-based cultural celebrations that uplift the diversity of Southern California residents!
