SUMMARY:Play For All Abilities (Special Session)
DESCRIPTION:We welcome children and families of all abilities. This Play for All Abilities hours is a special session that takes place on the third Thursday of the month\, due to the Christmas holiday.  \n From 12:00-3:00 PM are dedicated play hours when we welcome families and children with developmental differences. Play for All Abilities means we stand true to our values of access and inclusion.  \nDuring Play for All Abilities hours\, we adjust our space and programs to provide: \n\nLess crowded space\nQuiet atmosphere with limited stimuli (low lights\, no music\, no microphone)\nProvide space for families to build community and children to make friends\nSensory backpacks which include noise-cancelling headphones and sensory toys*\nVisual guide\nNonverbal communication cards\n\nRegular admission applies. Play passes may be used for this event. \nCan’t make it during Play for All Abilities hours? Our sensory backpacks are available any day of the week as a free daily rental\, ask a staff member at check-in!
