A Purim Celebration with SCCM and PJ Library \nSunday\, March 8\, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n \nWe’ll have extended hours on March 8 to celebrate Purim\, the joyful Jewish holiday of costumes\, courage\, and community\, with our friends at PJ Library!  \nJoin special guest Leah Paul for an interactive Purim performance that brings the story to life for little ones. Then get creative with animal mask-making\, the perfect way to dress up and embrace your inner hero. \nIn the spirit of Purim’s tradition of giving\, we’re collecting donations for Pasadena Humane’s animal shelter. Bring an item from their Chewy or Amazon wish list and receive 25% off admission — that’s just $9 instead of the regular $12. \nIt’s a great way to show kids that doing good feels even better when we do it together. \nThis event is open to all families. No prior knowledge of Purim needed — just come ready to play\, create\, and give!

They will bring in example floor potties\, children’s books\, a miss kit\, and more for a fun\, hands-on experience. \nKids are welcome! While little ones play\, parents and caregivers can learn helpful tools\, ask questions\, and connect with others navigating the same stage of early childhood. \nThis workshop is free with admission.

SUMMARY:Give Kids a Smile
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun and engaging oral health event! The Foundation of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society will host an educational program featuring a dental-themed story time\, a Q&A session with local pediatric dentist Dr. Soo Song\, and hands-on oral hygiene activities including tooth brushing and flossing demonstrations\, along with oral health education for young children. \nChildren who have signed up for the dental screening as they walked in will be seen by dentists as their names are called. \nThis event is free with admission. The Foundation of the SGVDS is sponsoring the first 20 participants who arrive at the museum and register for the event! \nEvent Schedule \n• 10:00-10:45 – Dental themed story-time and Q&A with Dr. Soo Song\, pediatric dentist \n• 10:00-12:00 – Ongoing activity stations for tooth brushing\, flossing\, oral health education\, and screening for the children who registered. Dentists and volunteers will be on hand to help and answer any dental questions. \nThe Foundation of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society (FSGVDS) is the charitable arm of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society\, a component of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
