SUMMARY:Caregiver Workshop - You've Got This: Navigating Starting School
DESCRIPTION:Pasadena Education Network is a local organization that helps parents and guardians explore\, evaluate\, and engage with their public schools\, and represents a collective voice for parents with the Pasadena Unified School District.  \nSCCM is working with with them\, as well as community partner Gia Gambaro Blount to offer a three session parent/guardian learning series\, where families are invited to get support as they prepare to send their early learners to school for the first time.  \nIn this April 16th workshop\, PEN will provide resources to help you learn about and explore your public school options—plus an overview of how the open enrollment process works. \n\n\n\n\n\nPurchase Tickets to the April 16 Workshop\n\n\n\n\n\nTickets are $15 per family of 4 per session and are available online or in person. \nChildren are welcome to come and play in the museum during the workshop.  \nDoors for the event will open at 5:30 p.m.\, and the workshop/discussion will begin at 6:00 p.m. We know it’s dinner time! So families are invited to bring their own dinner to enjoy it at the museum.
