Guest Code of Conduct

We want every family to feel welcome and safe here. A few simple expectations for everyone’s visit:

  • Be safe. There is no wrong way to play as long as we are keeping ourselves and each other safe! Be thoughtful about your words, actions, and follow our admission and safety policies (below) so everyone can enjoy their visit.
  • Be kind. Treat other visitors, staff, and volunteers with respect and courtesy. Help us keep the museum a respectful place through modeling positive and constructive choice making.
  • Be engaged. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, our exhibits are open and hands-on, and that works best when grown-ups are engaged and playing too!
  • Take care of our space. Play with exhibits and materials in such a way that they are here for the next family too!

Staff may ask any visitor to adjust their behavior, and, if needed, to leave the museum, to keep SCCM safe and welcoming for all.
